New in the webphone: call summaries!
Intelligence call summaries are now also available in the webphone.
Intelligence call summaries are now also available in the webphone.
Contacts in the contact book of the webphone and/or app are now also visible on the desk phone during an incoming call. Tip: use the bulk import of contacts in the portal. This lets you load all contacts at once and they will be visible on all devices during incoming calls. Handy – you can see directly who is calling, regardless of which device you answer, and you no longer need to add separate contacts to your desk phone!
The Click-to-Call browser extension has received a few updates. Phone numbers on websites without a country code now automatically get the user's country code when you call with the extension. We have also made improvements based on user feedback so that websites take less time to load when you use the extension.
Due to new Google Chrome guidelines, we are forced to reduce the browser extension to one that focuses entirely on Click-to-Call. The extension recognises phone numbers in your browser, after which a phone icon appears behind the number. Click it and your VoIP phone, webphone, mobile app or other softclient automatically calls the phone number. Features from earlier versions of the browser extension, such as Queue Status, Availability Management and Colleague Status, are of course still available in the webphone, mobile app and portal.
It was already possible to select which phone number you want to call out with. The description of the relevant dial plan of the phone numbers is now also visible in the Voys Webphone, so you can see at a glance which number belongs to what.
You can now use certain headsets to control your calls within the webphone. Think of answering calls, putting calls on hold and (un)muting yourself. On our help page you can find which headsets are suitable.
VoIP accounts that are deactivated are not in use on a device. In other words, they are not reachable. These VoIP accounts are no longer visible in the app and webphone. Very handy for the overview of your contact list. You can of course still see and reactivate them in the portal.
The status of the User (available, do not disturb or offline) is now synchronised between the Voys App, Webphone and desk phone. Change the status of the User and it is now up to date on all devices. Your colleagues know exactly whether you are available or not.
This lets you see the status of your colleagues at a glance: are they available or not? In both the App on your smartphone and in the Webphone you can easily check the online status of your colleagues. You never need to check whether and on which device your colleague is reachable – Voys Pulse does that for you.
